Resilia

Resilia is a Florida progressive post-hardcore band founded by guitarist John Benoit in 2018. The project first developed through instrumental releases such as Royal Flush and Gambit, which highlighted intricate guitar work and a clear connection to the melodic, technically agile side of post-hardcore. The lineup solidified with vocalist Daisy Chamberlin, whose presence gave the band a stronger emotional and dynamic center, and the group's later material balanced clean melodic passages, mathy guitar figures, heavier bursts, and fluid rhythmic movement. Well Intentioned: The Name of The Game established the band's personalized version of the modern swancore-adjacent sound, while the lead-up to By A Thread showed a sharper focus on songwriting and production. Resilia's history is still early, but its identity is already distinct: bright guitar interplay, high-mobility arrangements, expressive vocals, and a mix of prog-rock detail with post-hardcore urgency.
